Daniel Sladek

Dan is celebrating his 24th year in franchising and his passion for the franchise business model has not waned. Dan has been fortunate to have experiences at many levels in this dynamic industry: as a franchisee of a home improvement business, to helping develop an emerging retail computer store concept from 3 units to 230 units in five years, to becoming the Director of Development for an urgent care franchise (owned by current Florida Governor Rick Scott) that included writing the franchise disclosure document (FDD) and franchise agreement, to creating and developing a one-of-a-kind website and on-line franchise matching system for a large multi-state shopping center developer.

Dan’s first attempt with consulting franchisor’s how to grow their brand proved to be very successful. Dan was contracted by the owners a stagnant mobile-based outdoor home service business to grow their business beyond two states. He uniquely re-positioned their branding message and appeal to potential franchisees with amazing results. Franchise sales tripled in the next two years and surpassed the 100-unit marker. The company was ranked among the Top 200 Franchises in America by the Franchise Times magazine.

Dan’s franchise versatility and industry knowledge also was paramount in the time Dan assumed the role of a franchise broker helping franchise seekers find the proper fit in a franchise business. For his service working with our military veterans, Dan was awarded the designation of a Certified Franchise Advisor (CFA) from the Veteran Franchise Centers of America.

Dan also achieved the highest professional designation within the franchise community of having earned the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) status by the International Franchise Association (IFA).

Dan holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Mount Senario College in Ladysmith, Wisconsin where he attended college on a 4-year basketball scholarship.

Dan resides in the Orlando Florida area, is a single Dad, and enjoys spending quality time with his wonderful 20-year old daughter. In his free time, the Minnesota-native enjoys landscaping, swimming, barbequing, and spending time walking the sugar-sand beaches of Florida.

Ramiro Garcia

Ramiro Garcia is results-driven, dedicated and highly motivated business entrepreneur with successful business experience. He poses solid analytical, communication, and presentation skills and has worked in the franchise industry for the past 17 years. He has managed different roles, from working for a franchisor to owning a franchise business.

Right out of college, he was given the responsibility to manage the marketing strategy and identity of a new franchise brand. This consisted of conducting marketing research; including focus groups, managing all marketing projects and communication with advertising agencies, and setting up advertising strategies for franchisees to deploy at the local level across the country. After a period of 3 years the brand became about 200 units strong.

Some of the latest accomplishments have been in the successful recruitment of candidates from Latin America and the US to join a growing retailer in the energy industry. Ramiro knows both sides of the business; he totally understands franchisees and franchisors and what is needed to have a successful relationship.

He has been married for 17 years and currently lives in Michigan. During his free time he enjoys traveling and riding a motorcycle.

Ramiro holds a Marketing degree from University of Texas, El Paso and an MBA from Oakland University.
